WHM Upgrade/Downgrade an Account Interface

The Upgrade/Downgrade an Account interface in your WHM control panel lets you upgrade or downgrade an account in your control by changing the hosting package for the account.

Please note that this interface uses the hosting packages configured through the "Add a Package" feature of WHM. Please configure your hosting packages before creating/upgrading/downgrading accounts.


Accessing the Upgrade/Downgrade an Account interface

Login to your WHM control panel using your web browser. Go to 'http://www.yourdomain.com/whm/' (without the quotation marks). So if your domain name is 'example.com' you should go to 'http://www.example.com/whm/' to login to your control panel. The Upgrade/Downgrade an Account interface is in the "Account Functions" tab, simply click on the name to enter.

Selecting a new package for the account

This interface has a table you can make a selection from. The "Current Package" section shows the actual package and "Available Packages" table shows the configured packages you can use to upgrade or downgrade this account to.

To change the package;
  • Select the new package for the account from the "Available Packages" table.
  • Click "Upgrade/Downgrade" button.

In order to contact our support department, please follow these steps;
  1. Sign in to your client portal from the following URL: https://clientportal.virgohosting.com
  2. Click "Support" link in the menu to access the "Support Tickets" interface. If you're accessing the client portal from a mobile device, the menu may be accessible by clicking the "MENU" icon depending on your screen resolution.
  3. Click "Submit New Ticket" button.
  4. Choose the help desk you'd like to send your support ticket to from the "Help Desk" dropdown menu.
  5. Enter the support ticket subject and your message in the appropriate text boxes.
  6. Click "Submit" button. Our support staff will reply to your ticket as soon as possible
